The long wait was finally over! The BIG event was more than successful as my ultimate crush and singer idol, Gil Ofarim, together with his band, Acht, rocked the stage at Strom Munich last Saturday, February 23, 2013.

Watching and reading all these stuff made me feel so envious of those who were able to watch the concert live. I have watch all the videos uploaded in Youtube--from simple guesting to concert tour--and saw how great the band was as a performer. That`s why I always looked forward to watching them live. I even created a Facebook Fan Page called Gil Ofarim with Acht: Comeback Concert Tour in the Philippines 2013. Philippines is very far from Germany and only a few could afford to go there, so I was thinking of a way for me and my co-fans to see him once more.
Anyway, as I have predicted, the concert was really fun and great and, as the Germans describe it, "Hammer!" And I couldn`t agree more. By only watching the videos, it was really an overwhelming experience, how much more for those who were really there?
Just last month, concluded The Voice of Germany concert tour, where Gil was one of the performers in all big stadiums all over Germany. This time, the venue was much smaller, and yet it never really mattered. It didn`t affect the least bit in the concert experience. In fact, it allowed the audience to interact more with the band. And how was the performers? Can`t you tell based on the photos and the videos? They were all very happy--alive and kicking. They were really enjoying themselves as if they`ve never done that for a long time. Four gentlemen performing like a child. That was really cool!
So what`s my point in all these? All I want to say is, I`m really dying to see Gil with Acht performing live. That is one of my biggest dream since his appearance in The Voice of Germany. As one concert finishes, the pain of my desire to see him--them all--was growing more and more.
To Acht, congratulations to your success. We wish you more concerts and appearances to come! We are also hoping to see you here in the Philippines. Hope you could grant our wish.
